There are a variety of options to consider when traveling to the Grand Canyon. Travel by car to the South Rim is made easy by I-40 and highways 64 and 180. By car to the North Rim, take I-15 from Las Vegas.

The closest airport to the Grand Canyon is the Grand Canyon National Park Airport, located eight miles from the visitor center. Other popular options are Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and McCarran International Airport, from where it is possible to hire a car and travel to the Grand Canyon in your own time.
